maybe both of the types are SO tricksy that they just cancel out?
like the tricky value gets so big that it reverts back to 0, sort of like an opposite version of ghandi in civilization.
though i would not discount flying types for being mischievous.
blue is very devious even now that she is a big dragon bird.
that is a good point.
maybe if nobody has made pokemon-resistant clothing then i will open my own clothing business and become super rich!
i just need to learn how to make clothes first.
no subject
Hoo hoo! I sadly cannot make clothes either. Unless, of course, it was within the game and we had the appropriate grist amount.
Then I would definitely invest in doing so. It would cut down on the things I need to buy, at least!
no subject
i had mad amounts of grist back in the game.
we could basically make anything we wanted!
i wonder what you would even combine to make a poison-proof outfit though...
maybe antidote && suit || pillow?
no subject
Good for you all on that front. I wish we could say the same - our monsters gave us an absolute pittance of grist for the fights they put up, so we were lucky to splurge on a couple of things.
That sounds like a good combination to me! I bet it'd require a bit of experimenting to get a format that would work most effectively, but it's a good start.

i hope that when we meet up in the future of the game we are able to give you guys more grist so that you can make a bunch of useless shit that references your favorite pop culture icons.
that is about all we did with it.

I think if I could make anything, I'd make a replica of Ron Swanson's suit when he plays jazz as his alter-ego Duke Silver.
It'd have a more feminine cut of course, but a peak-lapel grey suit like his would be incredibly dashing!
no subject
who the heck are they?
though in my opinion i do not think you can go wrong with alchemizing a suit.
i have to pull up wikis for all this information i'll have you know
Duke Silver is an alter-ego for Ron Swanson when he plays saxophone in Eagleton, Indiana on the second Thursday of every month!
And Ron Swanson is the director of the Parks and Recreation department of Pawnee, Indiana! He's not the main character of Parks and Rec, but he is undoubtedly the best.
Did you not see Parks and Rec?
this is hilarious because i have actually seen all of parks and rec twice, what role reversal
i have never heard of it or this ron swanson you speak of.
is it a movie?
:B
It started airing back in 2009, and before I went into the Medium, we were just revving up into season 4!
Thank goodness Dirk and Roxy had the rest of it pirated in advance, or I'd have never known how it all turned out!
Goodness, John, if you've never seen it, we should find out if there's some way to get our hands on it!

our universe ended in 2009, so i guess it never got to air.
that's pretty sad now that i think about it. :(
but yeah, if you think it's cool, then it's probably cool!
maybe there's a weird pokemon version of it here.
there seem to be weird pokemon versions of lots of things.
no subject
I would happily watch that version as well!
This is officially something I need to look into. :B
Also, gosh, I am sorry to hear that was when your universe ended.
2010 and 2011 were pretty swell, in my opinion.
no subject
though it will probably have a weird name that has to do with pokemon.
like... parks and pokerus or something.
what else happened in 2010 and 2011?
i have always kind of wondered what would have happened if the world had not been decimated by thousands of meteors.
no subject
Hmm...
Well, where would you like me to start? What do you want to know about the most?
no subject
what kind of awesome movies came out?
/casually shatters the 4th wall
There was this movie called Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio that was very intriguing.
It involved going into layers of dreams until you just couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't anymore.
They also remade The Karate Kid with Will Smith's son and Jackie Chan, and they set it in China.
There was another Tron movie, that was a big deal. Oh, and Toy Story 3 came out and made everyone cry!
There was also this Expendables movie that put a bunch of classic action movie leads together into a high-risk action team that did...stuff. I didn't actually see much of that one. Jake pestered me for at least a month to, though, but I told him it wasn't my cup of tea.
As for 2011, there was a really neat Captain America movie! Very nice, very fun, and really lovely in terms of a pseudo-period piece for the 1940's. I think there were plans on incorporating it into the beginning of a Marvel Comics movie landslide of sorts?
Especially since they had a Thor movie come out before it.
There was also another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but it was basically just Captain Jack Sparrow fodder, so if you like Johnny Depp, there's plenty of him in there.
That's what comes to mind immediately.

i wish i could sit down and watch all of it right now.
too bad that it is all in another universe that possibly no longer exists.
you think maybe there are other universes where they got to make even more movies?
like going into 2012 and 2013 and stuff?
because it sort of sucks that all those marvel movies did not get made.
no subject
They also were apparently made in our universe? But Roxy has told me that they get increasingly more propaganda-y and brainwash-y the further from 2011 you go.
So, that's basically a bust of a movie night.
no subject
maybe there are pokemon versions we could watch?
i mean, they would have pokemon in them which would make them kind of weird i guess, but thats better than propaganda i bet.
no subject
Substituting Pokemon for brainwashing sounds like the perfect solution anyway.
