uh... hello? does anybody read these memo things?
is this some kind of prank? i wouldn't put it past terezi to pull something dumb like this.
so terezi if you're reading this can we just go through the "gotcha" moment and can you send me back?

anyways if you are NOT terezi and this is NOT a prank could somebody please tell me what's going on?
because last thing i can remember i was running a bunch of weird time errands for an alien girl.
and then i woke up here in a bed that is definitely NOT mine because it doesn't have cool ghost bed sheets.
also apparently i have a mom now?
she is nice i guess and this lunch box looks delicious, don't get me wrong!
but i was doing some important things!
i don't have time to be playing with this cloud bird thing!!!
(though it is a very cute cloud bird, i will give it that.)

i have tried to get back but my weird time jumping powers do not seem to work here.
and i cannot even fly anymore which is such bullshit! i forgot how lame it was to walk around everywhere.
also my sylladex is gone. so i don't have any of my cool computers or weapons.
instead i just have a backpack and this lame "poke gear" thing which doesn't even have pesterchum installed.
so. yeah.
could somebody fill me in, please?

I'm most acquainted with Dave, familiar with Karkat and Jade, and reasonably informed about Dirk, Jake, Aradia, Eridan, Rose, and yourself.

Strange as it may sound, I've met you before, though it's entirely understandable if you don't remember it. This place occasionally has that result, with the way people go and come.

Check the identification card that came with your arrival possessions. Does it list you as a trainer or a breeder?

what does that mean?

It means that by this world's standards, your goal in life is to challenge a series of sixteen elite Pokemon trainers and defeat them with your own personally-raised team.

As a breeder, one of my goals is to breed and supply strong Pokemon for people taking on that particular task.

oh, wow! sixteen sounds like a lot of trainers.
but does that mean you just... give out your pokemon to other people?
or do you get paid for making pokemon?

I maintain my own team, from which I breed eggs that I distribute for monetary compensation.

The purchasers of the eggs are then responsible for raising and training them afterward.

well i guess that is only fair!
what kind of pokemon do you breed then?
anything cool?
also how much do pokemon cost?

I personally favor Steel-types and Ghosts. But I try not to end up in a niche as a result.

I'll breed one for you free of charge, if you think you'd be interested in that.

i used to dabble in ghost biology. or i pretended that i did.
i guess i did make some slime babies once but i don't know if those count?
anyways a free pokemon would be really cool!

well i think a ghost type would be pretty cool, but i am not picky!
if you have something that would be better or something that's easier for you to get then i will take that, too.
i will not look a gift pokemon in the mouth.
